In the heart of Maremma

The first path Agri-cult of Paesaggiritrovati.it bring us to Manciano, a medieval village in the province of Grosseto, from ancient roots, dating IX century. The Cassero and the Church of San Leonardo, once a symbol of the civil and religious authority, over time have become a distinguishing feature of this typical landscape of Maremma. A place where agricultural production has undergone profound changes over the years, go through from growing wheat to the growing of vine and olive. Today, the municipality of Manciano has inside major centers such as Saturnia, famous for its natural thermae
, Montemarano with the works of Sano, of Pietro and of Vecchietta exposed in the church of San Giorgio, and Marsiliana point reference of agriculture of Maremma.
If there is one thing, in fact, that is not a shortage in these areas, it is the uninterrupted succession for the entire valley of farms, farmhouses and inns. Structures that emerge one after another like mushrooms and always give an idea of home and family.

It is the same air that you breathe in the ancient cuisine of Maremma the small of  "La Solina" farm, with an tipical restaurant. Immersed in this cross-section of the Tuscan countryside, the company came up thanks to a woman, her husband and her son. Vegetables from the kitchen garden, wine and meat from local producers, pastes made strictly in home and recipes handed down from mother to daughter: the result can only be a genuine concentration of flavors and people.
Tortellacci, meat Chianina very original and fennel in cream of milk are just some of the dishes prepared by the owner, as well as vegetable sauces, extra virgin oil and orange or chestnuts marmalade that you can buy.
