"In this place a child named Marcellino, also known as' bread and wine ', was grown by twelve loving friars." It seems impossible, yet the story of a famous film of the past that has affected and exited a lot of public, believer or not, suddenly becomes real before our eyes. The inscription reads by chance, carved in a epigraph  in the ancient walls of one of the rooms of the Abbey of St. Pietro in Valle of Ferentillo umbro, in Valnerina. One of the monastic cells where once the monks, adherents to the Rule of St. Benedict, spent in prayer and work their lives and where today, you can stay still breathing the air of a time that was.

"It was 1989, I and my future husband, Enrico, were looking for a house for us when we would be married. After a few failed attempts, a friend points out to us a property in Frontignano, near Todi, while up to then we had always sought from the other side of town. And then, one hot afternoon in July, we go for a walk by these parties. Once arrived in the country, while I look around, Enrico at one point said "is that!" Indicating the Tower. I was dazzled. I didn't have talk more. After the turn of the patrol I wanted it at all costs, and from there started the adventure. The tower collapsed, no had even the roof and floors. The house used as a cellar by the previous owner, had to be reset. Outside in the garden, or rather what remained of the nineteenth century plant, had planted oats for the poor horse. Since then, we have never stopped working, put in place, renovate ... and today we continue to do so. In 2006 we opened the epoc residence, and day after day, we try to perfect our hospitality. "
